Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: streets and trips software Comment: another great product from microsoft. one drawback is the frequency of map updates. in major metro areas, new neighborhoods are being built all the time. i wish microsoft would publish and allow downloads of map updates in between releases of new software as they do with some of their other products. Customer Rating: Summary: Great product! Comment: I use the software almost every time I take a trip. Great for estimating time travel and fuel costs. Gives me an idea of extra routes in case of road closures. Customer Rating: Summary: Good Mapping Software Comment: In the past I had used Delorme's products. And I have to say this is just as good and in some respects better. I don't use the satelite features, but if you're looking for this kind of software it will do the job just fine. Customer Rating: Summary: Streets & Trips Mapping Program Comment: Not very pleased with this product, bought it to upgrade my older 2005 version & it is actually not as good as the old program. Push pins did not import properly & graphics are not a sharp as older version. Also errors in the new program are the same as in the old program. For me it was a complete waste of money doing the upgrade. That said a newbie to the program might have a different feeling then I do and may like the program not knowing how the older version performed. That is why I rated it as a 2 instead of a 1. Customer Rating: Summary: An Old Fashioned Tool in the GPS Age Comment: Although this is a good planning tool, it seems obsolete in this age of very affordable gps devices. Liked the software and how easy it was to use, but again would not use it often in the place of my gps device.
